Range: Indo-Pacific Ocean/Red Sea

Size: 20 inches (50 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits sandy substrates on reef terraces and usually seen at depths between 3 - 65 feet (1 - 20 m).

Aquarium Suitability: Neither collected nor suitable for the home aquarium trade.

Ingests sand and feeds on the microorganisms and organic matter in the sand.
