Range: Indo-West Pacific Ocean: Southern Japan and Taiwan, south to the Philippines, and Papua New Guinea.

Size: 3 inches (7 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits coastal coral reefs and usually found at depths between 15 – 50 feet (5 – 15 m) where it feeds mostly on algae.

General Husbandry: Not collected for the trade.
