Common Name: Jonston's Sea Star

Range: Mediterranean

Natural Environment: Inhabits the upper level of sand in coastal areas

Note: Has a temperature range of 59 to 75°F (15 - 24°C). About 16 inches, (40 cm) from tip-to-tip and feeds upon small invertebrate. A cool water specimen, and not suited for aquaria. Better left in the wild and shown here for identification only.
