Range: Pacific Plate: Palau to Johnston Island, north to Bonin Island, south to Rapa; throughout Micronesia.

Size: 3 inches (9 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits exposed seaward reefs and usually seen in Pocillopora branching corals and found at depths between 3 – 100 feet (1 – 30 m) where it feeds on algae, various protozoan, and detritus.

General Husbandry: Not normally collected for the trade.
