Range: Western Pacific Ocean: Fiji and Tonga.

Size: 20 inches (50 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits coral reef environments, especially sandy areas and those containing coral rubble and often seen at depths between 65 - 100 feet (20 - 30 m).

General Husbandry: Has a shell similar to T. derasa, yet thinner with sharper edges.

Usually a brownish-gray with its mantle having some pale spots.

Not available in the trade.

Low light species and therefore considerably different than all others in this genus.
