Range: Indo-West Pacific Ocean: Kenya to South Africa, Thailand, Philippines and Line Islands.

Size: 3 inches (7 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits shallow coral reefs and usually seen at depths between 3 – 65 feet (1 – 20 m) where it feeds on filamentous algae, various protozoan, and detritus.

General Husbandry: Not collected for the trade.
