Range: Indo-West Pacific Ocean

Natural Environment: Found feeding upon Linckia laevigata starfish.

Aquarium Suitability: A parasitic snail often found attached the species Linckia laevigata, the blue starfish/seastar.

Must be removed as it not only feeds on the animals tissue, it is also the cause of secondary bacterial infections caused by the feeding wounds.
