Range: Western and Central Pacific Ocean, and also reported along the western coast of Mexico.

Natural Environment: Inhabits shallow water environments such as exposed reef fronts, and also somewhat deeper environments and is seen at depths between 3 to 150 feet (1 - 45 m).

General Husbandry: Rarely seen in the trade.
