Range: Western Indian Ocean: Central and Southern Oman.

Size: 5 inches (12 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits crevices and holes on near shore reefs and is usually found between depths of 30 to 50 feet (10 – 15 m) where it feeds on smaller fishes and crustaceans.

General Husbandry: Has a light brown body with a horizontal darkish mid-body band and a blue-black spot just aft of the eye. Not collected for the trade.
