Range: Indo-West Pacific Ocean: Red Sea, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Papua New Guinea, Philippines, Thailand, and the Solomon Islands.

Natural Environment: Inhabits shallow reef slopes and lagoons and seen at depths between 6 to 40 feet (2 - 12 m).

Aquarium Suitability: Not purposely collected for the trade.
