Range: Western Atlantic Ocean: Caribbean, Florida to Brazil and Western Africa.

Natural Environment: Inhabits most reef environments, especially lower slopes and usually seen at depths between 30 to 100 feet (10 - 30 m).

Aquarium Suitability: Not collected for the trade.
