Range: Indo-West Pacific Ocean: Red Sea, East Coast of Africa, Maldives, Philippines, Papua New Guinea, and the Solomon Islands and Australia.

Natural Environment: Inhabits a wide range of environments, including rocky foreshores and usually seen at depths between 6 to 65 feet (2 - 20 m).
