Range: Western Atlantic Ocean: Florida, Gulf of Mexico, Bahamas, Bermuda, and the Caribbean.

Natural Environment: Inhabits shallow lagoon reef areas and generally seen at depths between 6 to 50 feet (2 - 15 m).

Aquarium Suitability: Not collected for the trade.
