Range: Indo-West Pacific Ocean: Malaysia, Philippines, Taiwan, China, Thailand, and south to Australia.

Natural Environment: Inhabits rocky foreshores in turbid waters and seen at depths between 3 to 65 feet (1 - 20 m).

FYI: In the wild, forms irregular bases and branches that are a mottled yellowish-grey and dark green.

Cultured specimens exist in the trade that exhibit bright colors, therefore ask under what PAR conditions it was grown in, so you may continue to see it maintain its health/colors!
