Range: Indian Ocean: Red Sea, East Coast of Africa, to the Maldives and Cocos-Keeling Islands.

Natural Environment: Upper reef slopes.

General Husbandry: Rarely seen in the trade.

FYI: In the wild has an upward bushy growth with stubby branches that are cream or pale brown, with corallites blue or pink depending upon depth.

Cultured specimens exist in the trade that exhibit bright colors, therefore ask under what PAR conditions it was grown in, so you may continue to see it maintain its health/colors!
