Range: Western Atlantic Ocean: Southern Florida, Caribbean and the Bahamas.

Natural Environment: Inhabits outer reef slopes and calm water bays and generally seen at depths between 25 to 100 feet (8 - 30 m).

General Husbandry: Not collected for the trade.
