Range: Indo-West Pacific Ocean: Widespread.
Natural Environment: Inhabits outer reef flats where currents and wave action is very strong and generally seen at depths between 3 to 30 feet (1 - 10 m).
General Husbandry: See Acropora abrolhosensis for suggested aquarium husbandry, except for swifter water movement - WM 3 and brighter light, PAR 450+ and if possible, water surges.

FYI: In the wild, a more tubular species, with upward growing branches closely growing in association with each other. Somewhat fragile even though it comes from wave-washed areas. Generally cream, blue or purple, and often having purple branch tip.
Cultured specimens exist in the trade that exhibit bright colors, therefore ask under what PAR conditions it was grown in, so you may continue to see it maintain its health/colors!
