Range: Indo-West Pacific Ocean: Widespread.

Natural Environment: Inhabits protected reef slopes and usually seen at depths between 50 to 130 feet (15 - 40 m).

FYI: Generally in the wild has a flattened bowl shape and is overall a cream/tan color, yet also may be somewhat grey or pale blue with branch tips often pink, sometime yellow.

Cultured specimens exist in the trade that exhibit bright colors, therefore ask under what PAR conditions it was grown in so you may continue to see it maintain its health/colors!
