Likely Fish-Only Tank Suitable

Range: Indo-West Pacific Ocean: Southern Japan south to Papua New Guinea and further south to northwest Australia.

Size: 8 inches (20 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits holes and crevices in shallow rocky and coral reefs and is usually found between depths of 3 to 65 feet (1 – 20 m) where it feeds on smaller fishes.

Little aquarium husbandry/technical information exists for this species as of late 2016, and since its quite similar to L. cyclophthalmus, would no doubt require the same care requirements. (See that species for details.)
