Species Name: Discosoma malaccensae

Common Name: Brown Mushroom

Range: Central Indo-Pacific Ocean: Dutch East Indies to Fiji

Natural Environment: Inhabits tidepools and shallow lagoons

General Husbandry: Has a temperature range of 72 to 83°F (22 - 28°C). Usually has a deep green color and short tentacles. Requires slow water movement and moderate lighting, preferably shade.

Aquarium Suitability: An excellent and colorful reef or fish-only aquarium species
