Range: Wide spread in the Pacific and Indian Ocean

Natural Environment: Inhabits various nutrient-rich intertidal areas to about 30 feet (10 m), including tide pools and reef flats. Considered an invasive species in Hawaii.

Aquarium Suitability: Not considered a desirable aquarium species, and if attached to anything going into the aquarium, it should be removed before doing so.
