Range: Western Atlantic Ocean: Caribbean.

Natural Environment: Inhabits bays and inlets, often washing up on shorelines and beaches.

Aquarium Suitability: May arrive attached to coral specimens from the Caribbean, yet survival of this alga is short-term at best in aquaria, disintegrating quite quickly thereafter.
