Natural Environment: Inhabits intertidal zones and will grow on rocks, sand and mud, even grows in brackish water areas.

Aquarium Suitability: Not a suitable aquarium species.

Potential Control Species: Fish: Same as for Boodlea species

Crabs: Same as for Enteromorpha prolifera

Slugs: Same as for Enteromorpha prolifera
