Range: Eastern Atlantic Ocean: Portugal to south Cape Lopez Gabon, and also in the Mediterranean Sea.

Size: 10 inches (25 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits coastal reefs near eelgrass beds and usually found at depths between 3 – 150 feet (1 – 45 m) where it feeds on crustaceans/zooplankton.

General Husbandry: Not collected for the trade.
