Range: Western Central Atlantic Ocean: Florida, Bahamas, and Banco Chinchorro off Yucatan in Mexico.

Size: 1 inch (2 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits deep recesses on seaward reefs and usually found at depths between 65 to 250 feet (20 – 75 m) where it feeds on zooplankton.

General Husbandry: Little information exists for this species as its not collected for the trade.
