Range: Indo-West Pacific Ocean: East Africa south to Algoa Bay South Africa, east to the Marshall and Tuamotu Islands, and also New South Wales.

Size: 6 inches (15 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits seagrass beds in shallow lagoons and usually found at depths between 6 – 50 feet (2 – 15 m) where it feeds on benthic invertebrates.

General Husbandry: Not collected for the trade.
