Range: Indo-West Pacific Ocean: Red Sea, Gulf of Samoa, north to Southern Japan, and south to the Great Barrier Reef.

Size: 8 inches (20 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits sandy and rubble areas on seaward reefs and usually found at depths between 30 – 150 feet (10 – 45 m) where it feeds on benthic invertebrates.

General Husbandry: Not normally collected for the trade.
