Range: Western Atlantic Ocean: North Carolina, Bermuda to Brazil.

Size: 7 inches (17 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits shallow reefs with exposed rocky ledges and usually found at depths between 6 – 85 feet (2 – 25 m) where it feeds mainly on small benthic invertebrates.

General Husbandry: Not normally collected for the trade.
