Range: Central Pacific Ocean: Endemic to Hawaiian Islands.

Size: 12 inches (30 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits sandy and rubble areas in coastal bays and usually found at depths between 65 – 400 feet (20– 120 m) where it feeds on benthic invertebrate, usually hard-shelled invertebrates.

General Husbandry: Not collected for the trade.
