Range: Western Indian Ocean: Endemic to the Red Sea.

Size: 6 inches (15 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits seaward reefs and usually found at depths between 130 – 150 feet (40– 45 m), where its usually seen just above substrate areas. Feeds on zooplankton.

General Husbandry: Not collected for the trade.
