Range: Pacific Ocean: Marshall, Caroline, Kiribati, Tuvalu, Johnston, Marquesas, Clipperton Atoll, Cocos, and Gorgonia Islands.

Size: 10 inches (25 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits shallow lagoons and seaward reefs, and often found in surge zones and usually seen at depths between 15 - 130 feet (5 - 40 m) where it feeds on film algae.

General Husbandry: Not normally collected for the trade.
