Range: Indo-West Pacific Ocean: Andaman Sea to Papua New Guinea, north to Southern Japan, and south to northern Australia.

Size: 12 inches (30 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits sheltered coastal reefs with juveniles in harbors and bays and usually found at depths between 6 - 150 feet (2 - 45 m) where it feeds upon small fishes and benthic invertebrates.

General Husbandry: Not collected for the trade.
