Range: Central Pacific Ocean: Hawaiian Islands and Johnston Island.

Size: 4 inches (10 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits branches of stony corals on shallow reefs and is usually found at depths between 3 to 100 feet (1 – 30 m) and basically feeds on crabs and shrimps.

General Husbandry: Has mottled pale brownish body. Not purposely collected for the trade.

If ever available in the trade, would require the same captive care as for S. strongia, which is fully described elsewhere in this genus.
