Range: Indo-West Pacific Ocean: Reunion and Maldives, eastward through Indonesia and Papua New Guinea to the Coral Sea, and north to Japan.

Size: 32 inches (80 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits shallow coastal bays and estuaries and usually found at depths between 6 to 150 feet (2 - 45 m) where it feeds on benthic invertebrate.

General Husbandry: Not collected for the trade.
