Range: Indo-West Pacific Ocean: Southern Japan to the Line and Ducie Islands, and south to the Great Barrier Reef.

Size: 20 inches (50 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits reef flats and seaward reefs and usually found at depths between 30 – 130 feet (10 – 40 m) where it feeds mainly on algae.

General Husbandry: Has an overall darkish green body. Not normally collected for the trade.
