Range: Indo-West Pacific Ocean: East Indian region to Micronesia, Samoa and Fiji and Philippines to Australia.

Size: 20 inches (50 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits clear coastal and inner reefs and usually found at depths between 10 – 100 feet (3 – 30 m) where it feeds mainly on algae.

General Husbandry: Has an overall greenish body with numerous pinkish spots on the aft body and a wide pink blotch on the frontal body with a whitish patch edged in bright green under the eyes, Not purposely collected for the trade.
