Range: Northwest Pacific Ocean: Southern Japan and Taiwan.

Size: 6 inches (15 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits sandy and muddy areas on inshore reefs and can be found at depths between 30 to 600 feet (2 – 180 m) where it feeds on small fishes and crustaceans.

General Husbandry: Has mottled brown body. Not collected for the trade.
