Range: Western Indian Ocean: Gulf of Aden to Gulf of Oman.

Size: 5 inches - 12 cm

Natural Environment: Inhabits coral heads and rocky substrates on local reefs and is usually found at depths between 50 – 100 feet (15 – 30 m) where it feeds on zooplankton.

General Husbandry: Has mottled orangeish body and a while spotted tail edged in orange. Not purposely collected for the trade.
