Range: Indo-West Pacific Ocean: Red Sea to Phoenix Islands, Samoa, Southern Japan, Marshall Islands and south to Australia.

Size: 30 inches (75 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits lagoons and seaward reefs and is usually found in depths between 3 to 65 feet (1 – 20 m) where it feeds on smaller fishes.

General Husbandry: Has a whitish grey body with numerous small dark spots. Not collected for the trade.
