Range: Western Atlantic Ocean: Gulf of Mexico, Bermuda, Caribbean, to Brazil.

Size: 32 inches (80 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits rocky bottom areas on inshore reefs and is found at depths between 6 – 500 feet (2 – 150 m) where it feeds on small fishes and crustaceans.

General Husbandry: Has a mottled light grey body. Not collected for the trade.
