Range: Western Atlantic Ocean: Massachusetts to Bermuda, and the Gulf of Mexico to Brazil.

Size: 60 inches (150 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits rocky and coral coastal reefs at depths between 6 – 100 feet (2 – 30 m) where it feeds on small fishes and crustaceans.

General Husbandry: Has a mottled dark grey body. Not collected for the trade.
