Range: Western Indian Ocean: Somalia to Oman.

Size: 20 inches (50 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits coral and rocky bottom areas and is found at depths between 6 – 200 feet (2 – 60 m) where it feeds on small fishes and crustaceans.

General Husbandry: Has a dark grey body with several vertical white bands. Not collected for the trade.
