Common Name: Earle's Slender Anthias/Earle's Splitfin

Range: Indo-Pacific Ocean: Maldives, Christmas Island, New Britain, Marshall, Hawaiian Islands

Size: 2 inches - 5 cm

Natural Environment: Inhabits steep outer reef areas

General Husbandry: Has a temperature range of 72 - 80°F (22 - 27°C). Not normally found in the aquarium trade - shown here for identification purpose only. However, if available, diet consists mainly of meaty foodstuffs, e.g., mysis shrimp, enriched brine shrimp, and enriched fresh fish and shrimp flesh. Safe with invertebrate and needs at least two feeding of meaty foodstuffs.

Aquarium Suitability: Should be maintained in small groups of five or more. Quite peaceful and will not harm invertebrates. Can be kept in shallow water reef systems.
