Range: Indo-West Pacific Ocean: Seychelles, Aldabra, Chagos Islands, Southern Japan and Loyalty Islands, and also Mariana and Marshall Islands in Micronesia.

Size: 2 inches (3 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits lagoons and seaward reefs and seen on rubble and reef rocks and usually found at depths between 10 to 100 feet (3 - 30 m) where it feeds on zooplankton.

General Husbandry: Not collected for the trade.
