Range: Eastern Atlantic Ocean: Mediterranean and Portugal to Angola.

Size: 11 inches (27 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits caves on continental shelves and upper slope areas at depths between about 100 to 150 feet (30 – 45 m), and basically feeds on small fishes and crustaceans.

General Husbandry: Has a pinkish body with very long pelvic fins. Not purposely collected for the trade.
