Range: Indo-West Pacific Ocean: East Africa to the Society Islands, and north to Southern Japan.

Size: 3 inches (8 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits muddy bottom areas near reefs and usually found at depths between 15 – 65 feet (5 – 20 m) where it feeds on benthic crustaceans/zooplankton.

General Husbandry: Not collected for the trade.
