Range: Indo-West Pacific Ocean: Western Australia, Philippines, New Guinea, New Caledonia, Samoa, and the Solomon Islands.

Size: 3 inches (6 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits coastal sand flats and usually found at depths between 6 – 30 feet (2 – 10 m) where it turns over upper sediments in search of benthic crustaceans.

General Husbandry: Not collected for the trade.
