Range: Indo-West Pacific Ocean: Saudi Arabia, Oman, Mauritius and Kenya, Indonesia, and possibly southern Japan.

Size: 2 inches (5 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits sandy bottom areas and depressions in seaward reefs and usually found at depths between 6 – 100 feet (2 – 30 m) where it feeds on benthic invertebrates.

General Husbandry: Not collected for the trade.
