Range: Western Indian Ocean: Red Sea and Maldives.

Size: 4 inches (10 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits sandy bottom areas near reefs and usually found at depths between 6 – 150 feet (2 – 45 m) where it feeds on zooplankton and small crustaceans.

General Husbandry: Not yet collected for the trade.
