Range: Indo-West Pacific Ocean: Andaman Islands to Vanuatu, north to Japan, and south to New Caledonia.

Size: 6 inches (15 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits muddy lagoons, estuaries and usually found at depths between 3– 15 feet (1 – 5 m) where it feeds by sifting the sediment and consuming benthic invertebrate.

General Husbandry: Not yet collected for the trade.
